We’re looking for volunteers to join us on a climb of Mount Kilamanjaro in August 2015. We’re looking to gather together a minimum group size of 10 people who are willing to comit to raising a minimum of £2000 each to support our work with the children of serving and ex-serving British military families.; the £2000 will cover all costs and allow us to raise a minimum of £8000 to help pay for a dedicated Kids of Heroes holiday home.
Kilamanjaro is the highest peak on the African continent, and is stooped in natural beauty. Most climbers reach the crater rim with little more than a walking stick, proper clothing and determination. Please visit http://www.tanzaniaparks.com/kili.html for more information on the mountain itself.
You will need to be available for 10 to 14 days, dates to be advised, and be willing to reach a level of fitness that means you can complete this fantastic journey; it’s not as onorous as you might think!! Please follow this link for more details http://www.climbkilimanjaroguide.com/climb-mount-kilimanjaro/
For this fund raising journey to take place we will need a minimum of 10 volunteers to confirm their interest by the 31st January 2015, so please sign up now for this trip and experience of a lifetime by either emailing me at [email protected] or call me on 07725 819130.
